Thijs De Ridder is a forward for the UVA Cavaliers (ACC) and the Belgian National Team. He started his career in Belgium with the Antwerp Giants, before turning professional in Spain’s Liga ACB at 20 — where he was named Best U22 Power Forward in the ACB in 2024/25 with Bilbao. He then left the pro game for the NCAA, earning First-Team All-ACC and ACC All-Rookie honours as a freshman in 2025/2026, leading Virginia in scoring.
Antwerp, Bilbao, the national team, Charlottesville: a Europe lived on every front, faced with the same perfectionism he brings to the game.
